MyMedTell - Terms of Use

MedTell is an online telehealth platform that helps patients get their prescribed medications from the comfort and convenience of their homes. Our platform isn’t a replacement for traditional doctor office visits. It’s also important to note that all prescriptions are provided after assessing the health and disease information presented by patients. As a result, we request patients to be truthful and accurate with their symptoms because it enables doctors on MedTell to make an accurate prognosis about their condition.

We urge patients to carefully read our terms of use before signing up on our platform and using our services to obtain a prescription.

MedTell Terms of Use

  • I acknowledge that MedTell is a telemedicine platform where doctors prescribe medication based on the information I’ve provided. I also acknowledge that I’ve read and understood the terms of use before using the platform’s services.
  • I understand that telemedicine or telehealth involves using electronic information and communication technologies to deliver services to an individual when they’re located at a different site than the healthcare provider. I acknowledge that MedTell doesn’t provide me with a face-to-face physical or medical examination or consultation.
  • I acknowledge that telemedicine or telehealth visits are better suited to mild and moderate conditions. It’s not a replacement for a face-to-face physical or medical consultation with a doctor. These services are not appropriate for severe or life-threatening illnesses.
  • I understand and confirm that medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment provided on MyMedTell.com is virtual or asynchronous. I acknowledge it was done without a face-to-face physical or medical examination with a doctor.
  • As part of MedTell’s terms of use, I agree to call 911 or seek emergency care if my symptoms devolve or my condition worsens. I also acknowledge that I might need immediate medical attention after my telemedicine visit.
  • I agree to use telemedicine services as a secondary means of accessing healthcare. I agree to continue the recommended routine physical visit with an in-person physician for my condition.
  • I can certify and confirm that I do not have any cognitive impairment affecting my decision-making process. I acknowledge that I’m of sound mind to make medical decisions for myself.
  • I understand that telemedicine or telehealth consultations operate on the limited information I’ve provided. As a result, I accept the risk of misdiagnosis because of the lack of in-person evaluation or the use of diagnostic tools.
  • I certify that I can only use MyMedTell.com for telehealth purposes as an adult patient.
  • I certify that I’m an adult legal guardian of a minor patient before using MyMedTell.com.
  • I acknowledge that I’ve read and understood MedTell’s refund policy before utilizing their services. I understand that the service fee is non-refundable once MyMedTell sends my prescription to my selected pharmacy.
  • I’ve understood the payment policy for using MyMedTell.com. I acknowledge my payment to MyMedTell.com only covers the consultation fee and doesn’t cover the prescribed medication. I agree to pay for the prescribed medication out of pocket or through my insurance at my selected pharmacy.
  • I understand that the services rendered by doctors on MyMedTell.com depend on the information I’ve provided. As a result, I agree to provide the most accurate and up-to-date information about my medical history, symptoms, allergies, diagnostic reports, and health to avoid misdiagnosis.
  • I acknowledge that doctors and physicians on MyMedTell.com will use the health history, medical history, medication list, allergy list, symptoms list, diagnostic reports, and other information to evaluate my condition and recommend a treatment plan.
  • I understand failing to obtain or provide requested diagnostic lab or image studies can increase the risk of treatment failure and misdiagnosis. I acknowledge that I won’t hold MyMedTell and its representatives responsible for any misdiagnosis and treatment failure that might occur because I failed to furnish the necessary medical diagnostic studies.
  • As part of MedTell’s terms of use, I agree to follow up with a doctor in person to receive a face-to-face physical or medical examination if my symptoms worsen or don’t improve timely after my telehealth visit.
  • I acknowledge that MedTell’s consultation fee covers a single visit. As a result, I understand that a prescription refill or re-evaluation request at a different time may incur additional fees.
  • I’ve been informed and understand that telemedicine or telehealth isn’t a replacement for in-person physician visits. Instead, it’s a supplement meant to be used as a secondary means of gaining medical attention.
  • I acknowledge that I’ve been informed that electronic communication via email and other asynchronous electronic medical record transfers may delay healthcare delivery via telehealth. However, it’s my responsibility to request a cancellation and seek immediate medical attention elsewhere if this delay poses a health risk.
  • I understand that I can cancel my telehealth visit with MyMedTell before the consultation visit has been marked complete. However, my payment will become non-refundable once my telehealth visit is completed and my prescription has been delivered to the pharmacy.
  • I acknowledge my responsibility to follow up with a doctor in-person after my telehealth visit with MyMedTell.com. I agree to receive further evaluation, including lab testing, if my condition doesn’t improve promptly.
